Team Cohesion (Open Leader)
Leadership or the non-existent example of Leadership that this team is needing for Team Cohesion. Once we have established getting John back to prime leader we can look at improving the rest by identifying the problems, gaps and needs. John needs to individually access his team individuals and gather information. He needs to identify specific causes of disharmony in the team and identify the specific causes so he can decide on possible solutions.
Certain individuals in this team have ‘development needs’ knowledge or skills, by training. Ability plus support plus effort equals performance. John could get coffee mugs printed up for the team with their individual names also printed which read “Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance” These are the Five P’s. On the other side of the mug that reads “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”, Helen Keller.
